Probably ended up ending prematurely because of the same reason Samantha Who did (2007 writers strike, no reruns ABC run by idiots...) BTW three of your five series aired onABC originally. Life also premiered during the 2007 writers strike, which means it probablt died for the same cause as Samantha Who
