Admire your devotion. I regularly watch the televised Creative Arts Emmys on FXX, even the truncated ones. Often they can be fun and I do enjoy seeing some of my favorite performers get recognized. I was thrilled years ago when Rachel Bloom finally won an Emmy for her songwriting on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. (That the Emmys never even nominated her for Best Actress is reason number 678 I still have trouble taking them seriously.)
Some of my favorite performers have finally gotten recognition through the Guest Actor and Actress awards. I loved when Gerard McRaney, Alexis Bleidel and Ron Cephas Jones all took prizes in the past decade. For understandable reasons, I was equally overjoyed to see Nick Offerman finally win an Emmy for The Last of Us (first nomination, which is insane) and Judith Light for Poker Face (first win, crazier.) Was also thrilled to see Carol Burnett win again - it partially made up for her not being nominated for the final season of Better Call Saul.
A for Effort.
