And again you basically seem to ignore the fact that one party has decided to abandon science and refuses to do anything about guns. You say declare a climate emergency as if Fox News would pay any attention to it. We crtiicize our leaders all the time.
Just get out and say it. You want a dictatorship. At least the conservatives are honest when they say that they don't want the left to vote - that when more people vote they lose. You seem to say one party is pure fascists and the other - completely handicapped by the way our government is drawn - can't do anything, so why bother with them either?
You want a dictatorship where only people who think like you - the people who praise you in the comments section and write similar columns I imagine - make all the decisions are everybody. You've been saying democracy is useless for decades. This entire column selects solutions that you know can't be done in the current system and therefore are proof the system doesn't work. So get a system where there are no Democrats or Republicans, just nice people like you WHO KNOW WHAT BEST FOR US. The fact that's the foundation of every single dictatorship in the world doesn't matter. You know what's best, therefore you alone should make the decisions. Hell, you probably won't vote in the next election and that as one party turns America into a fascist state, you'll shrug and say: "Well, they should listened to me." The fact that your entire line of articles is boilerplate diatribe with 'solutions' that the current political system can't get done is irrelevant to you.
Oh yeah capitalism doesn't work, democracy doesn't work, we're all doomed. But hell, at least until you die you can keep churning out your columns saying I told you so right up until the moment the mob kills you or the smogs chokes us to the death. You're right. We're all going die. But you told us so. You didn't do a single thing to make things better - hell, by convincing people that both sides were equally bad, you probably weakened things still more - but you were right. That's all that matters to people like you. Like everyone else in this broken system, you're just trying to make money off people's sufferING.
