Apropos of nothing, there was a poll after the debate of almost every single possible Democratic alternative other than Biden to run against Trump. ALL Of them were losing to him in a general by two to three points. Biden was exactly where he was before. So really the magical alternative to Biden is still nowhere in existence. To quote Lincoln "who do you want to replace him? Anybody. We can't win with anybody. We must have somebody." Well, we have somebody and he's not doing worse than anybody.
