Because she's a child. And a disabled child. This is, of course, another part of the hypocrisies. It is the left using a child for a prop. It just helped that the child actually said and did the right things.

I may have written in a different essay that for parents who live in blue states they're more upset if their child comes out as a Republican then queer and are more upset to find them watching Fox News or Newsmax then porn. In this world all of the schools and children suffering in red states are props for fundraising in blue states and Democrats. In truth, the left only uses them as cudgels in their own debates, they will talk about all of the ways that African-Americans, woemn, LGBTQ+ etc are suffering in deep red states, but they'd never go there themselves to help them. As far as their concern, if you're one of those people and you live in those states, the best thing you can do is move to a blue state. And if you're too poor oir don't have the resources, they could care less. I see this in so many progressive newsletters: red states a re cautionary tales, third world countires deserving less help than the actual third world. I hear it in so many articles on this blog. As far as their concerned everyone who lives in a red state is populated by Fox Nees watching, gun toting, confderate flag wearing, incels and Karens who think the Old Testament is a biography. That isn't true of course - there are minorties, women, LGBTQ_ and - shcoker! - even Democrats in these states. But as far as too many people if they live in red states, they deserve tp suffer along witrh everyone else.

I've been writing about this on some of my other blogs not because I'm conservative but because I am a human being and have empathy. Which according to people on this blog, conservatives are not the former and certainly don't deserve the latter. Much of this has led me to realize that all of the things that people argue for on this blog only applied to me and not for thee. To them, it doesn't count as bigotry if the people you hate deserve it. I've tried to parse that for five years and I am unable. By that standard Greta Thunberg meets every single talking point for the left because she is for the right cause, is purely perfomative rather than any action and refuses to listen to diverging opinions. The fact that so many young people consider her an icon honestly scares me more about the future then climate change does.
