Came out the same year as Rocky and Network and the three movies divided the major Oscars. Robards won for his work as Bradlee and Goldman for his adaptation of the book. Hard to argue it was robbed for Best Picture, that was also the year Taxi Driver came out. It was a tough call for the Academy.
