Expect this to meet with harsh criticisms from leftists who believe it is everyone else's job to meet them and that THEY do not have a problem, the rest of the world does. Brian Schatz, Democratic Senator from Hawaii said that he believes a large part of this year's election lost came because the left has increasingly become the loudest voice of the Democratic wing and insisted that it dance to its tune. Quite a few voters who voted for Biden last time voted for Trump or because they were isolated by the demands of left-wingers.

Now considering the left will take this naturally to mean that the problem is with the country and not them (the fact that they have argued either for further activism or that the party move FURTHER to the left shows that they are engaging in their own form of election denialism) as well as the continued argument that there is no difference between the two parties makes it clear tHAT, at the end of the day, many on the left truly have no real committment to democracy any more than those on the right. I will be dealing with this in some articles on my own column later on but here's a message: either grow up and learn to compromise your views for the long game or figure out what you actually want from this country so someone can give it to you rather than insist that we're a failed state and that everything that happens makes things worse.

tHE far right for the record is winning this battle essentially because the left has been screaming at the top of its lungs for fifty years about the country being broken and never truly explaining how or why. The far right has always had a vision, horrible and racist though it may be, as well as the long term committment to realize it. You on the left love to point out just how much time and energy the right has done towards subverting democracy but you've had that exact same amount of time to do all of that and you've basically spent it writing a lot of books and comments about how much we've failed you. It could also be argued the right has a vision for America and you on the left do not. You're great at telling us what's wrong with the world; you are remarkably quiet about telling us how you would fix it. You're supposed to be smarter and more enlightened then the rest of us mere mortals so I figured you'd at least know what the leftist utopia was by now or at least some blueprint for it. The fact that you have yet to produce one beyond bitching and moaning against a 'rigged system' (which you use just as much as the GOP does for the record) shows why the right will triumph. You guys may not be dumb in the traditional meaning of the word, but you sure as hell don't have any common sense.

The author is proposing a solution you'd do well to listen too. Those of you who've chosen to biovate about the flawsd in this system overall show that you have no interest in hearing any voices but your own.
