Having watched Smith I now believe he was miscast as Doctor Who. His work in the first two seasons of The Crown as Prince Philip was remarkable and even though I think little of House of the Dragon I was impressed by his work there. Sometimes being freed from an iconic role leads the performer to greater heights - both Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant have become two of the most brilliant television and film actors ever since they were freed from the shackles of the TARDIS.

I don't really need encouragement to watch this film having loved Morfydd Clark in Saint Maud. I have to say given the implications of your reference one of the worst horror films in history is Night of the Lupus in which the world is attacked by a swarm of killer rabbits who are somehow less frightening then the ones in Holy Grail, does make me wonder about the climax. Still I'll watch it when it eventually makes it to cable. (I find that I can bear horror movies easier when I have the option of changing the channel quickly.)

After years of laboring for love in my blog on TV, I have decided to expand my horizons by blogging about my great love to a new and hopefully wider field.
