I Always love articles like this. I've seen so many of them and they all amount to the same argument I've seen with so much other articles. They're all the same thing really:

"My problem with a movie that was made in the past was that it was made it the past."

This is basically true with so much of today's cultural arguments for the left on everything, books, TV, movies, politics, ads, every single aspect of it is bad because the people who wrote the film didn't have the mindset that you, writing from the present, have the wisdom do now. bY EXTENSION you chose to judge not only the culture but every singfle person who ever lived before you as complacent in this kind of awful behavior whether you watched, read or consumed the material or not.

Can't you just say its aged badly and be done with it? Why does everything that was made longer ago then a few years have to be a de facto indictment of every part of society? Thank god we live in a soctety where today's youth watch such wholesome entertainment as the Game of Thrones frqanchise, Squid Game and Euphoria!

I'd ask if you read your own writing or hear yourselves talk but since it's a given you never acknowledge anyone who dissents with you or calls them names, I know you don't.

So how is this going to play out? Will you block me or will I block you?
