I always thought the fact checking on social media had all the impact of those publications that published their retractions of scandalous stories two weeks later in a small column on page twelve. Once it's out there, it's out there and all the fact checking in the world will not make it better. You'd think given how much the left claims every time anybody on the far right said anything they would scream that they were getting away with murder because they said it in a public forum.

Fact checking is something that makes small groups of people feel better and does nothing to solve the actual problem. When ZUCKERBERG tossed it out, it was a bone and everybody knew it. Come to think of it many of those same leftists claimed it was a bone at the time. And now they're upset that something they thought meant nothing is being removed. They live in their own bubbles as much as the far right does and they love to follow the same standards which are for thee but not for me. (Certainly I learned that the hard way.) Besides I'm sure they'll go to their next talking point which is there's no such thing as free speech anyway and the idea of it is an illusion.
