I am always grateful to know when someone agrees with me. Makes me feel I’m doing something right.
For the record Billions was flawed. I actually went into some detail about some of my problems with it not long after the Season 5 finale (before, I should add, I knew Damien Lewis was leaving the series) And I admit I’ve only seen four or five episodes of Succession. All that said, Billions was the better show at least for its first four seasons and I’m still baffled why it was ignored by the awards community and every other group can’t seem to get enough. If you’ve got any insight I welcome your opinion.
And I don’t deny there is some really great acting on Succession particularly from Jeremy Strong and Sarah Snook. But I’d rather spend a day with any of the characters at Axe Capital than two minutes with the Roys. Is it just because so many of them aren’t quite as rich?
