I am and I've had my issues since 10/7. However since the lion's share of my writing is TV and film criticism, along with political history and maybe ten percent social criticism, I have stayed away from this subject like a hot potato.
You have a courage that I don't have, maybe because I've seen the comments section on every column on this issue and know that no matter what response you give on this issue...well, I don't have to tell you, you've been seeing it for yourself. Keep trying and you have my support.
Just for chuckles I was in my old neighborhood and saw SANTOS' old office. They still haven't taken his name off the awning that's there. Suozzi had the job before - you might not know this but he left to try to run against Hochul for the governor's nomination and lost. He left and the guy who ran against him apparently didn't do a google search on George Santos during the months he was campaigning which is the only explanation that none of Santos 'myths' became public knowledge until you know, the week after he was elected. (Sigh.)
