I don't know how much of this was sarcasm but that being said Snowpiercer is an extraordinary film. I just rewatched it recently and it represents by far the greatest use of Chris Evans as an actor.
And it is kind of a Christmas movie in that we all feel like killing our family at least one point during the holiday season. And you're right about one thing. All Christmas movies should have kindergarten teachers who teach their children rote lessons of how pointless thinking for yourself is and have a machine gun hidden in their toys. If that isn't the true meaning of Christmas I don't know what is.
(And the moment in the end for Evans is EXACTLY what I looked like when I learned that Santa wasn't real btw.)
