I had an experience with a crazy neighbor who when I said I was Jewish told me I wasn't because I apparently pronounced Yom Kippur incorrectly. He at least was Jewish. Apparently the entire non-Jewish world has a similar opinion on Judiasm having apparently googled Israel once.
