I have always loved the Marx Brothers and I realize all of their films are imperfect while most have indelible moments that have gone down in history. That said, my favorite will always be A Night at the Opera because it was the first one I ever saw. Yes, the romantic comedy hampers it just a bit, but there's the party of the first part, the three aviators, the moving room, that incredible last twenty minute sequence (A battleship in Il Trovatore!) and the statesroom scene "With two hard boiled eggs (hONK!) mAKE that three hard-boiled eggs." I will always love Blazing Saddles as well which you really marvel Mel Brooks got made and though it's never been viewed as one of his classics One Two Three always makes me laugh hysterically. (I was only a pastry cook during the war!")
