I have been thinking for years that Bill Maher has been out of touch with reality. I don't know what he's for anyway. He says moving should provide escapism, but a couple of years ago he based superhero movies that did just that. (In his mind they led to the rise of Trump.)

I posted a similar criticsm of Maher last year. Unlike you, I actually thought he was funny once. Now I think he's become the HBO equivalent of Statler and Waldorf. A part of me really wonders what he does to get enjoyment out of life, other than smoke pot. He doesn't like movies or TV, he has no patience for religion and I've never heard of him being linked to women in any capacity. I really don't know why HBO keeps him on the air. But then again, this is the network that has kept Curb Your Enthusiasm on for twenty years. (At least, Larry David doesn't take himself that seriously. Oh, and he is funny
