i THOUGHT Wandavision was one of the best shows of 2021 but I have to admit that's solely because I knew almost nothing about the movies (I've never been the biggest fan of the MCU I'll say up front) and more for what the writers were trying to do. As a work of art and as deconstructionism, I think was a masterpiece. As a part of the MCU, yeah, it was lacking. And that's the only MCU show I've had any use for at all. Fundamentally, I think it would have been in everybody's interest if Marvel had taken Endgame literally. But this is Hollywood pure and simple, and you don't stop milking the golden goose even after its been dead for awhile. I think the MCU is creatively bankrupt. The problem is, as long as the movies keep making money, they're never going to stop. I'd say 'Go ahead and shoot', but I think basically we're in agreement here.
