I wonder if that was Ira Levin's intention when he wrote the original novel. I mean, he was Jewish and the antiChrist is fundamentally a Christian notion. There's no such thing as hell or Heaven in the Old Testament, something Levin would have known better than most. That's another one of those nice things they don't mention in the New Testament.
