i'Ll wait until this film comes out on cable to see it but believe me it and the Substance are very high on the horror films I want to see.

Somehow the older Hugh Grant gets the better actor he becomes. Now that he is free of his boyish good looks and bumbling charm (which were fun) he has become brilliant as the go-to villain in so many films and TV shows over the past decade. His work in A Very English Scandal and The Undoing were both triumphs worthy of Emmys (he was definitely robbed in the second case and if it weren't for his one episode in The Regime, the whole series would have been a complete waste of time and energy. Comparing him to Oliver may seem a bit extreme but giving the reference to Sleuth it might be fitting considering that when Olivier was not much older than Grant he was doing some superb work as an antagonist if not outright villain (Sleuth and Marathon Man are among the highlights of his last years.) Could this film finally get him the Oscar nomination he's been denied for most of his life? I can only hope.
