In his last great movies book, Roger Ebert revised his middling review of A.I. and listed it as one of the greatest films of all time. I've now rethought my opinion. I always loved Top Secret (dare I say more than Airplane?) and I always thought it horiffic that of the two films about an asteroid coming to hit Earth that were released in 1998, the one that everybody seems to worship (god knows why) is the one that is directed by Michael Bey the worst successful director in history. Deep Impact isn't a masterpiece, but it does give the subject the realism it deserves
