Indeed the bikers in the final season of Breaking Bad pretty much define America. Near the end of the series they had taken almost all of Walter White's stash - somewhere in the neighborhood of $80 million. Todd - whose 'cow eyed face masks one of the most frightening villains in TV history - insists they keeping cooking meth because he has a thing for Lydia, the ruthless corporate kingpin in the show's final season.

That's actually another piece. In their main meeting, she's upset with him for not killing Skyler. She burst into tears and begged for her life when Mike had a gun to her head, but once the alpha male was gone she lived up to her title of 'deserving to die as much as any man." She thinks Todd is trash and wants to dismiss him, but when she learns the 'product' is 92 %, she pretty much tunes him out and thinks only of the billions she can make. Gilligan pretty much summed up America right there with Todd and Lydia. One will do pretty much anything for something he'll never get, and the other has no problem with as many people dying as long as she can become one of the one percent.
