I've written so many article criticizing Bill Maher over the years that some of my fans think I'm picking on him by now. But I have rarely encountered anyone on this site who has simply and succinctly summarized everything I supremely dislike about him as you do.

I will give him credit for at least willing to occasionally give a mea culpa. On his last Real Time before the election, he used his last New Rule to tell everyone that Democracy was doomed and there was nothing that could be done to save it. After the election, he not only admitted he was wrong about what he would happened but that he'd been wrong about the American people. A lot of people on this site - you know who they are without me having to name them - will not go that far.

But everything else, absolutely right. Maybe I'll just remember this article the next time Maher says something ridiculous instead of wasting fifteen hundred words on why I think he's an idiot.
