Note: The comment above is not directed at the author of this article who I intend to mute immediately after this. Rather it is for the rational, sane people on this site who I know are out there and who I have increasingly found here in the last several months. I may at one point turn this into a series as some of you might have done but for now, I don’t think it’s worth it. Let us proceed:

First of all, let’s deal with the fact that the comment I left was snide and unpleasant. It was also ironic and sarcastic which the writer, in keeping with leftists across this site, failed to recognize and took it completely straight-forward. This is bizarre considering the tone of the article I commented on which was also nasty and sarcastic but it hardly surprising as the left famously is devoid of self-awareness. (We’ll get to that)

As I’ve learned over the years the far left doesn’t listen to rational debate, compromise or have any solutions of their own. If you ever ask them what they would do if they were in power or how they would solve problems, they will ignore you outright. The author of this article, like most of her group, was not interesting in building coalitions in the aftermath of the election nor finding a solution. No her article was entirely based in the same kind of zealous bigotry and hatred of roughly ninety percent of the articles by leftists on this blog and expected one of two things: lavish and unfiltered praise for her position or someone daring to question her so she could choose to invest her hatred on them.

You will often note the longer and more detailed the comment you leave, the briefer the response will be. This in keeping with the leftist position which is purely binary. Because they have no solutions they will just as often call you names so they can dismiss you. This is the argument of certain successful progressives who have now written entire books arguing that you should never push back against the left. That is entirely what this article.

Now the lack of self-awareness in her criticism: “That’s a lot of words”. The author, it’s worth noting, spent three times as many words as I did in my comment to essentially say something that could be summed up a tweet and still have characters to spare. Her ‘article’ was little more than the boilerplate rants I see on so many leftists articles which use a lot to say the same thing. Her summation that all white women who vote for Trump are monsters is something that I’ve been seeing in some form dozens, if not hundreds of times, before over the last eight years though rarely with such striking photography. (Note that for the left, they rarely can go a hundred words without using the words ‘racist’ sexist’ ‘homophobe’ or ‘white supremacy’ – often in the same sentence.

Second: note the word ‘uneducated’. This is the dog whistle leftists use when they’re not using the words ‘racist’, ‘sexist’, et al. This speaks to their primary divide of the world: the ‘enlightened’ (them and the uneducated – read anyone who disagrees with them or who they don’t like. This speaks to their two parts of blindness:

The first is that they are the only ones who know the truth of how horrible the world is and anyone who dares disagree with them is ignorant. This doesn’t matter if you dropped out of high school, are a college graduate (like myself) or even went to an Ivy League University (like many Republicans and conservatives have) You can have all the degrees in the world but if you don’t know the ‘truth’ of the left, you’re a moron.

And the second is their justification for why the rest of the world has never embraced their leftist proposals. Normal people – like the Democratic party – would come away from the 2024 election and try to figure out where they as a party went wrong and how they can win next time around, such as the midterms in two years. Leftists, by contrast, view elections in America as one of two ways. If the Democrats win, it is a mandate for progressive principles no matter how big the margins were. If Republicans win, it is not a rejection of their principles but rather something wrong with the electorate. For the last twenty years they’ve been clinging to the antiquated notions of the electoral college which has had merit in some fields given the results of 2016 and back to 2000. Given the nature of Trump’s win this time around, that argument doesn’t hold so they’re back to blaming the electorate as this article clearly does. In all honesty, they’ve always been more comfortable with that argument anyway.

We will see countless articles like this in the next few years – and just to be clear, we would see those exact same articles even if Harris had won. Everything I said in the comments section about articles like this during Biden’s term is completely true and we all know it. The left is good at one thing only: blaming ‘the system’ for its failures. This article is just the most recent one and they will keep writing them because when it comes to blame, the left will do anything but look in the mirror. They didn’t so in 2016 or in 2000, or in every election since 1968 at least. They will never take responsibility for the role they play in their defeats, either by their absence from the polls or how the vituperation of their rhetoric pushing more people away then it brings to their coalition or how they truly believe articles like these are ‘making a difference’ when all they are is the longest and strangest group therapy sessions in history.

I’ve learned it is best to ignore them because they can’t be reasoned with. However, I will continue every so often to leave comments like this to keep puncturing the bubble they live in and to offer support to the sane ones out there who read these articles and wonder, like me, if anyone will acknowledge the manure they’re spreading. I am working towards ideas for what happens next (I’ll write about them something in 2025) but what I know is true is that the author of this article and her ilk have nothing substantial to say and have every occasion of saying it variations of it loudly and angrily for as long as they can. I know they don’t deserve my attention but I like to keep them honest anyway.

Goodbye forever Elizabeth. I leave you to your bubble of support. We all know it was an adventure for you to climb out of it in the first place.
