One more thing. Fox News, which basically spent 2020 denying Covid was a big deal, would go insane over Covid. It's possible that only a few thousand people would've died under a Clinton response. But Fox News would have had a big counter on its screen and personally interviewed the family of every single person who died. There'd be pictures at funerals of grieving children. They wouldn't care any more about the dead, of course; all that mattered would be making Hilary lose a second term.

Everything else, dead on. I think the international situation would be a lot better though -we'd have a measured withdrawal of Afghanistan, we'd still be upholding the Iranian nuclear deal and the Paris accord and of course we'd be confronting Putin at every level. But none of this would be good enough. You think the right created false outrage under Obama? It'd be ten times as bad for everything Hilary did.

The one good thing: The Republicans would disavow Trump. they'd be doing everything they're doing now, but they wouldn't care about what he said. He'd be just another failed candidate. Of course that would just mean someone competentlly terrible would run in 2020.
