Conservatives ARE the Republican party,

Progressives shout over anyone who wants to compromise their vision

Conservatives do the same.

Progressives convince their supporters not to vote for Democrats unless they completely embrace their vision

Conservatives do the same for Republicans.

And you wonder why Democrats don't have more support than Republicans nationally.
