Sadly Mitch he's right. I guarantee you that none of the people making the noise could find Israel on a map before October 7tH and most can't now. God help me on a different column justifying hatred of Israel someone summed the history of Israel as and I'm paraphrasing:

Europe after World War II: "Sorry Hitler killed so many of you. Here's this area in the Middle east for you. You just have to kill everybody who already lives there.

If they are capable of yada-yada-yadaing THE HOLOCAUST (which to be clear, other more reputable leftist journals are in regard to Gaza and show no sign of double-think) then trying to reason with them using facts, history and dates is meaningless. I learned this the hard way with so many 'enlightened people' on this site' if you try to use facts and figures and historical information to prove points that disagree with people's world views, they will call you a monster, a bigot and just call you names. fAR TOO many people on this site don't come for an enlightened exchange of ideas. They want their own bubble chambers. And the only thing they like more than telling people they agree with they are right and smart is that people they disagree with our monsters and idiots.

You're doing the right thing by blocking those people. I wish we didn't have to do this because it does nothing to solve the problems we have today. I am a believeable in respectable dialogue and trying to reason with people who disagree with me. But too many people of every side and ideology believe that the problem is 'The Other' and not themselves. The people who've made these posts on this subject truly don't see their own bigotry. That's actually scarier than the people who use dog whistles and love to march and chant their bigotry. AT least you know who they are. These people genuinely believe that the posts they make are not bigoted and racist, just truth telling.
