Thank you for making the link clear. I have argued in my own articles that the protests involving Palestine are based in the saem kind of ill-conceived actions that are all about activity and really have no end goal other than bonding but it didn't occur to me to make the connection to Occupy Wall Street.

I will say that I can at least understand the outrage behind what happened there even if it was ill-informed and had no endgame. This just seems like protesting for the sake of protesting. It is looking at one of the most complicated and tragic incidents in our history by young people and just saying: "How can we make it all about us?" instead.
