That's the real problem with our society honestly. Everyone cares about being offended by individuals more than whatever real offenses are actually taking place in our society. And it can be ridiculous at times. When I went to see Captain Marvel, half of America was mortally offended that a WOMAN was playing a superhero that had once been a man. This SACRED INSTITUTION had been rendered (gasp) woke. The other half considered all of those people misogynist and said that they were behind the times. Whether or not you liked Captain Marvel on its merits (and to be clear, it was at best a mediocre movie and a total waste of the talent of an actress such as Brie Larson) was irrelevant to the culture war.

The Overton window by identitiy grouo shifts so constantly that if you use the wrong phrase by ACCIDENT because you don't remember a term that was invented three minutes ago you are a bigot. We've raised an entire generation of radical children that os facing so many actual problems but is hung up on being called the wrong name. Seriously the people in these website want an echo chamber telling them how good and smart they are, and are OFFENDED when they are mildly challenged on any of the position they take.
