This is the bigger problem. Judges, DAs, and Sheriff almost always run unopposed. Indeed, in New York you often find justices for the state Supreme court listed on both ballots. The problem isn't that the people running the country are too old (although don't get me wrong, we NEED term limits in a big way.) The problem is, at a local level, the people who make our laws, enforce them, and interpret them, so often run unopposed. That's where we need to be focusing
