Was any of the work by Conrad L. Hall on your list? Along with Roger Deakins he's one of the few contemporary cinematographers I know by name, and it's hard to argue with the mastery of his work. It would be hard pressed to consider a film like Road To Perdition a 'beautiful' film in the same way as the others (except perhaps in the way that SeVen is) but its hard to imagine one more magnificently shot or at capturing the mood. Otherwise I can't argue with the lion's share of your choices and extra points for acknowledged Gordon Willis, Haskell Wexler and Jack Cardiff three of the greatest cinematographers in history,
