YES because as any true connesseiur of movies knows, the true artistic value of a movie is NOT whether people want to see it. Commerce is, as we all know, has nothign to do with the making art. The WGA and SAG-AFTRA aren't striking because they want more money; they'd work for free. Everyone who works on a movie doesn't want money, of course not. They do it make people like you happy. The money's incidental! Your vapidity in your article would be unequaled were it not for the fact that you are clearly and almost certainly a critic. Anything that makes the shaky business of film healthy is obviously bad because all art should be made and viewed for no cost. I suspect to see this column published under the heading of the New York Film critics where the only qualification for watching a film is that THEY can see it and appreciate it.
