Yes because as you know you only have to watch a movie for twenty minutes to know its horrible. In fact why bother watching a film at all? Some people bother with the trailer but why go that far? Hell, I know people who read the first line of the synoposis of the movie and decide it must be terrible without even haven't to bother to see it. Those are your people. Because it's not like you need to argue the decision the Oscars made over a movie was biased and idiotic without even bothering to see the Best Picture film or indeed any of the nominated films or any movies at all. Blanket judgments based on preconceived notions are what internet reviews are all about. I look forward to your the fact that you think Breaking Bad was an overrated mess of a series because you watched it for ten seconds while channel chasing in the middle of an episode somewhere in 2011. That's what's in-depth reporting is all about.
(bY the way, you want to denounce the oSCARS AS BEIING IRRATIONAL, political and totally random, I'm actually completely on board with that. They are worse than a broken clock when it comes to being right. Just try to at least see a nominated film all the way through before you outright dismiss it. It makes it harder for the rest of us trying to say the exact same thing which some of my columns have done. I agree with most of your columns, but this one was off base. Try to live up to your usually high standards in the future.)
