As someone who will be writing quite a bit about the binary nature of both the left and the right, this is an argument impossible to win.

All the laws that apply to every other nation in the Middle East and the world never apply to Israel. EVERYTHING Israel is justified because of the Holocaust. Therefore by attcking Israel, you are automatically anti-semitic. Naturally the left argues that they can attack Israel because they are oppressing Palestine and yet defend them in the same breath from anti-semitic attacks at home because her the Jewish people are oppressed. Similarly the left thinks that Bernie Sanders despite being Jewish and having spent his childhood in Israel should be COMPLETELY irrelevant and he should reject his cultural identity in order to accept the leftist one. That's not me. The Nation published an article on this and its becoming increasingly a problem for him. They are also petitioning other progressive Senators for not calling a demand for a ceasefire in Israel immediately even though it is a purely token gesture and is done to make THEM feel better. And to be clear, in their binary thinking, they have conflated Israeli leadership with Israelis and therefore have decided that Israel, like every institution that is not the mythological utopia they had inhabit, completely and utter currupt.

And as you know since the left never admits defeat or acknowledges any point that is slightly disturbing to their bubble, the insults will just keep coming. In other words, every time a leftist insults you, you win. I figure you take them as badges of honor by now
