You know it's people like you who make my job so much harder. I honestly think that if you were to do a literary analysis of Dr. Seuss books you would find ways to read them as him being anti-semitic, anti-vegetarian and racist. (I'm actually afraid to look to see if you've done this.)

I'm not going to defend Michael Bay: i honestly think he is the emptiest filmmaker possibly only interested in blowing things up with as much violence and little intellect as possible. Bay's movies have no deeper meaning because they don't have any surface meaning. By giving his writers credit for this film assumed that Bay actually uses screenplays for his films.

It's bad enough when critics try to argue that movies have deeper meanings then they do or that they have no meaning so you can't enjoy them. You're CREATING a fictional narrative - which too be clear you do in every review you've done - to argue for an extra reason to hate a movie. I honestly prefer the work of shallow intellectuals who hate blockbusters simply for existing because their snobbery is upfront. This is psuedo intellectual claptrap to make you sound smart for hating a horrible film. You take a new level of pseudointellectualism that my fellow elitist critics are fond of. Hell, by the standards of these reviews you could get a job at the New Yorker - and trust me when I say that's NOT a compliment.
