Conservatives do not want to negotiate with anybody for anything and call anyone who gets in their way an obstacle and someone who should be destroyed. You're doing the exact same thing, only you're doing a worse hob of it.
Republicans believe a version of the old Stephen Decatur saying: My party, right or wrong. Some of them may say they believe in the agenda of progressives, but when it comes down to it they'll vote only for their tribe. That is disgusting and horrible, but at least they're loyal to something.
You - and basically any progressive like you - just believes: "I'm right. I'm never wrong." And if anyone at all - be it the media or the elected officials or the voters disagree with you - then you have no use for them either. You and your group are elitists who have basically the same message as Fox News. Our side is right, and anyone who tries to present an alternate view - or worse compromise - is part of the problem. The fact that you are arguing for things that world should agree with doesn't make you any less of an elitist You've basically decided that no one who takes your point of view - be they conservative media, Republican or basically a Democrat who doesn't give you a hundred percent of what you want a hundred percent of time - is just part of a broken system. AOC got 150,000 votes and she's the voice of EVERBODY in the country. Chuck Schumer got 5 million votes and he doesn't know anything about politics. You have spent months arguing that Joe Biden has to do everything in his power to force Manchin and Sinema to vote their win - and when he does that by compromising, you basically tell progressives he;'s a traitor and they should vote against that same bill.
I realize this is a pure waste of words because you and your ilk think you are the voice of the people. You fail to understand - conservatives are a BLOC of their party; leftists are a WING and not nearly a large one. So you'll go one your talk shows and write your columns fully convinced that righteousness is what matters more than trying to do something. Say what you will about Roge Ailes and the FOX news bloc, but they're good at getting their message across to their base. Fear will outtrump ideas every time.
