You're Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad metaphor is the perfect one. I'm actually planning to someday rewatch the Breaking Bad verse, starting with Saul and stopping just as the two worlds collide and going from Bad from there. Based on that, you've told me what I need to know.
Incidentally using this metaphor, I've actually had some time to reflect on an earlier comment I made on the ridiculous overlove for Game of Thrones in the final season. Perhaps it was a case of what goes around comes around. As you are aware, when Game of Thrones was at its peak (the first four seasons) Breaking Bad was leaving 'only' being a great show and becoming one of the greatest shows of all time. As a result Thrones got practically no recognition from the Emmys during that period. Perhaps the Emmys overcorrect during its final two seasons - I've seen them do so repeatedly over the years, recognizing such masterpieces as The Americans with nominations and wins when the series was half over and in the case of shows like Fleabag and Schitt's Creek, only after the series had ended. I'll admit its ridiculous that basically every single actor in Thrones was nominated the last two seasons, but seen another way, the fact that for most of its run Peter Dinklage was the only actor who seemed able to get nominated is just as ridiculou.s.
Anyone thanks for your advice. I'll try to do so.
